The reason for the report is to seek agreement to increase the value of delegation of the level of contracts to be allocated via the Dynamic Procurement System (DPS) from £49 million to a total value of £138.8 million for the full contract period from 2018-2029. An increase required as a result of a range of existing and new service pressures set out in the report. It is important to underline that all expenditure will remain within the agreed Council budgetary framework.
