The Partnership for Change report, agreed as part of the 2015/16 budget and the review of the Attendance & Wellbeing Policy agreed by Cabinet in June 2015 included the commitment to develop the principle of supporting Health & Wellbeing into a wider strategy to better support employees. Health and Wellbeing is also a key element of the Council’s Workforce Strategy and Employee Charter.
The Strategy will include the commitment to pursue Welsh Government’s Corporate Health Standard , explore the viability of Employee Assistance Programmes and incorporate initiatives to support better mental health .
