To provide a briefing to Cabinet on the updated scope for the procurement of a construction contract to deliver the coastal defence improvements.  This will include:

•           Modifications to the original scope of improvements

•           Procurement approach – contract to allow for inflation

•           Approval process / consents to enable the scheme to be delivered.

•           Estimated construction costs for the coastal defence improvements, including Welsh Government funding.

•           Details of the design and methodology of the coastal defence improvements.

•           Supplementary information relating to potential future risk to infrastructure not being protected by the improvements.
