The Council is required to prepare and publish a public participation strategy setting out how it will encourage local people to participate in its decision making in accordance with the requirements of the Local Government and Election Act (Wales) 2022. The Council’s ‘Stronger, Fairer, Greener’ policy statement also includes a commitment to “Introduce a new Community Participation Strategy, amplifying the voices of people who are currently less likely to get involved in the decision-making process.”
