Cardiff Replacement Local Development Plan Review Report and Delivery Agreement

The current Local Development Plan (LDP) was adopted on 28th January, 2016. Legislation requires Local Authorities to undertake a full review of their LDP within 4 years of adoption. The first stage in this process is preparation and consultation on the draft Review Report and draft Cardiff Replacement LDP Delivery Agreement. Following the decision of Council on 28th November, 2019 consultation on these documents took place between 14th January 2020 and 11th February 2020.


The purpose of this report is to report back to Council the findings of this consultation process and recommend the Council approve the Final Review Report and Replacement LDP Delivery Agreement, forward to the Welsh Government for agreement and, subject to agreement being issued, commence the preparation of the Replacement LDP.
