The current framework for the provision of Passenger Transport is due to expire 31st August 2018. The report outlines plans to extend the current DPS for up to 18 weeks so new contracts can be brought in over the period of the first term (from start of September 2018 to start of January 2019) as opposed to starting all contracts on the same date. This will ensure an efficient transition to new contracts with minimal disruption for customers.
