12/04/2021 - Termination of Contract with Sure Maintenance to deliver central heating installations and insulation measures in private rented homes across Wales ref: 1500    Recommendations Approved

Agreed: that

 

a)    that the contract with Sure Maintenance to deliver central heating installations and insulation measures in private rented homes across Wales be terminated by mutual agreement and

 

b)    the Affordable Warmth Solutions funding be distributed to private landlords directly through a grant award of up to £2660  as set out in the report and in accordance with the Recipient Agreement and

 

c)    it be agreed to enter into any necessary agreements to reflect the changes set out in this report as and when required including but not limited to any updates to the Recipient Agreement and any grant agreements.

To enable the ARC and 24/7 Services to vacate Willcox House within the agreed timescales and allow relinquishment of the Willcox House lease at the agreed date, avoiding any additional costs to the authority.
