Agreed: that utilising Procurement Policy Notes 01/20, the Family Contact Service, currently delivered by external provider Swanstaff Recruitment Ltd be extended for an additional 12 months
To ensure the statutory service of providing supervised contact for children and their families is not disrupted whilst the Council continues to respond to the COVID 19 pandemic.
To support a comprehensive and thorough recommissioning exercise for a statutory service for children’s services, that will add assurance that the future delivery of this service delivers on Cardiff’s statutory responsibility, meets the needs and wishes of local families and provides value for money for the Council. A recommissioning exercise of this calibre could not be achieved in the remaining 6 months of the contract.
Swanstaff Recruitment Ltd provide a good service for the Council and have confirmed they would agree to a one year extension.
