The CrossRail Phase 1 project has a spend deadline of mid 2026 on its UK Government funding contribution of £50m.
There is an urgent need to procure a contractor to support the detailed design, costing and construction of Cardiff CrossRail Phase 1A (City Centre-Cardiff Bay). As the funding owner, client and lead delivery organisation, permission is required to launch this tender process.
There are other key elements of the project that also need to be progressed, they include consultation, detailed design business case submissions.
