Standards & Ethics Committee

Cardiff Council is seeking to appoint new Independent Members to its Standards & Ethics Committee.

The Standards & Ethics Committee has an important role in promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct of elected members of Cardiff Council and the six Community Councils within its area. If you value local democracy, have a commitment to public service and have the capacity to be independent, objective and strong-minded, then you may be the right person for this role.

Members of ethnic minority communities and disabled people are currently under-represented on the Committee, so applications from members of these groups are particularly welcome, although all applications will be considered on merit. Application Pack
