Cardiff Cycling Strategy

Cycling is growing in Cardiff. The city compares favourably with other UK cities which are currently benefiting from higher levels of capital investment in cycling. Maintaining this growth is a key part of the work required to meet our target of 50% of all trips to be made by sustainable modes by 2026 and to meet our Capital Ambition commitment to place active travel at the heart of planning, transport and highway policy.
Following Cabinet approval in January 2017, full public consultation was undertaken on the Draft Cycling Strategy in February/March 2017.
