Appendix A to this report is not for publication as it contains exempt information of the description in paragraph(s) 14 and 16 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972

AGREED: that

1. the shortlisting of bidding parties following the administration of the PQQ for the Procurement of Area A Development at Atlantic Wharf and subject to receiving sufficient responses to any PQQ clarifications be authorised.

2. the procurement documentation, including the evaluation criteria, be approved and issued to those organisations identified in Appendix A and to continue with the procurement process.

AGREED: that the contract for CO21020 RED ROUTE (ROATH PARK CYCLEWAY) be awarded to KNIGHTSBROWN Ltd for £3,431,980.32 (PRE VAT)

Appendix A is exempt from publication on the basis that it contains information of the description set out in paragraphs 14 and 21 of Part 4 of schedule 12 A of the Local Government Act 1972 and in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information and paragraph 16 (legal privilege) of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972

Appendix B is not for publication as it contains exempt information of the description in paragraph 16 (legal privilege) of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972

AGREED: that the  Main Works Contract be awarded  to ISG Ltd for the construction of the new Fairwater Campus (subject to agreement of final terms and Ministerial approval of funds)

AGREED: that To the bid submitted by Telcom Networks Ltd be accepted for the delivery of Phase 2 of the Local Broadband Fund for gigabit capable fibre broadband to be provided to areas which are currently poorly served by the commercial marketplace.

AGREED: that legal services be instructed extend the Framework for Responsive Repairs & Maintenance with all four appointed Contractors for a further 2 years from 1^st April 2024 to 31^st March 2026.

AGREED: that legal services be instructed to extend the Framework for Disabled Adaptations to Domestic Properties (Lot 1 – General Building) with all three contractors for a further 2 years from 1^st May 2024 to 30^th April 2026.

To formally extend the Framework Agreements for a further 2 years to terminate 31^st December 2025, ensuring continuity of service delivery.

AGREED: that legal services be instructed to extend the Framework for Responsive Repairs & Maintenance with both appointed Contractors for a further 2 years from 1^st January 2024 to 31^st December 2025.

AGREED: that legal services be instructed to extend the Framework for Repairs & Maintenance to Domestic Vacant Properties with LCB Construction Limited for a further 2 years from 1^st January 2024 to 31^st December 2025.

AGREED: that

1.    The direct award of contracts to adoption service organisations based in Wales named in Appendix A, in relation to the services identified and for the contract periods also set out in Appendix A, with such contracts anticipated to continue during 2023/24 – 2025/26, be authorised.

2.    Additional services that may be required to fulfil the terms of new Welsh Government Grant funding be authorised.

Appendices A, C, D, E and F to this report is exempt from publication because it contains information of the kind described in paragraphs 14 and 21 of parts 4 and 5 of Schedule 12 A to the Local Government Act 1972

AGREED: that Lovells Partnership Limited (Lovells) be appointed as the contractor and a JCT 2016 Design & Build Contract be entered into to build 60 homes for the St. Mellon’s Community Living project.
