Purpose:
To comply with the Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (Wales) Act 2015 regions are required to develop a Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy and have this published by the end of May 2018.
Decision:
RESOLVED: that the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Violence against Women, Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Strategy 2018-2023 (as set out at Appendix 1 to the report) be approved
Consultees
Guidance from Welsh Government suggests a consultation period of 12 weeks. This is hoped to commence in March 2018 and will include service providers, service users, commissioners and all statutory and third sector partners.
