Agreed: that the establishment of the 2FE entry dual steam primary school with nursery provision to serve the early phases of the Plasd?r development be delayed from the planned implementation date of September 2021 to September 2023.
As a result of Covid-19 lockdowns and restart of work following amended protocols to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, building work on the Plasd?r development has been delayed. The developers have agreed an amended timetable of works and it is now anticipated that construction of the new school will be completed by August 2023.
It is expected that existing primary schools in the local area served by the planned school will have sufficient capacity for children living at the development for academic years 2021/22 and 2022/23
