Decision details

Agreed: that

1)  the procurement of Heavy Plant Equipment be awarded to Walters Plant Hire Limited.

2)  all providers that submitted a tender for these provisions be informed of the outcome of the evaluation and procurement

1)  This procurement will replace the current spot hire of heavy plant equipment on a contract hire basis over a 5 year period with maintenance support being provided by the supplier.

2)  This vehicle group is currently out of contract and by award the Council will ensure it has resilience in the provision of waste management services and compliance with the EU Procurement Regulations along with its out Contract Standing Order rules
