1. the existing Tunnel Maintenance Contract be novated to VVB Engineering (UK) Limited in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015; and
2. the Council be authorised to enter into the novation agreement in the form attached in Appendix 1 with VVB Engineering (UK) Limited.
To obtain the necessary approval of the Director Planning, Transportation and Environment to extinguish the one contract and replace it with another, under which the replacement contractor takes up the rights and obligations duplicating those of the original contract.
