Decision details

Agreed: that agreement be given to authorise the award of stage 1 of the contract to Andrew Scott Ltd as the preferred contractor, following the compliant tender process, to progress the initial design and review the costs to construct the velodrome and its associated Performance Hub building and note the provisions relating to stage 2 as set out in the report.

To enable the contractor to provide advice, information and support that will enable the project to complete the design works and confirm the costs of the Velodrome and Performance Hub.  These costs will then be presented back for Cabinet consideration (as part of the final business case) before stage 2 of the contract can be proceeded with.
