· a procurement exercise via an open procurement to appoint a contractor to build 20 new council homes at the former Iorwerth Jones site in Llanishen be undertaken
· approval be given to the evaluation criterial for the procurement, as set out in paragraph 6 of the body of the report.
Reasons for the decision:
To identify and appoint a preferred contractor to develop 20 new council homes on a council owned development site with planning permission already in place. The procurement is via an open procurement through Sell2Wales. The development scheme will be delivered through the council’s new council house building programme and will help achieve its target of delivering 1,000 new council homes by 2022.
