The Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013 requires the Council to prepare an Active Travel Network Map (ATNM) setting out new and existing active travel routes to be developed over the next 15 years. Cabinet approval is required to undertake statutory public consultation on the ATNM

RESOLVED: that

1.              the consultation plan to undertake a statutory 12-week consultation on the Draft Active Travel Network Map be approved

2.              authority be delegated to the Director of Planning, Transport & Environment to consider the feedback to the consultation on the draft Active Travel Network Map and approve any amendments thereto that are considered appropriate.

3.              Authority be delegatedy to the Director of Planning, Transport & Environment to submit the final version of the Active Travel Network Map to the Welsh Ministers for approval in accordance with the timetable set out by Welsh Government
