Agreed: that a call off contract for Millennium Walkway Deck Replacement be awarded to Encon Construction who submitted the most advantageous tender following a mini competition through the South East & Mid Wales Highways Framework Lot 7
Reasons for the decision:
In accordance with the ordering procedure set out in the South East & Mid Wales Highways Framework the Council carried out a mini-competition for the proposed works with all Contractors invited to tender within the appropriate ‘lot’. In accordance with the pre-determined evaluation criteria, Encon Construction submitted the most advantageous tender, value £2,047,980.89
