AGREED: that
following consultation with the cabinet member for Finance, Modernisation and Consultation, the Section 151 Officer and the Director of Governance and Legal services approval be given to
i. The calling off of an existing third party framework, NPS Temporary Workers & Supply Teachers NPS – PSU – 0088 - 18 via the Direct Award route; and
ii.Award a contract for Matrix SCM Limited for a term of one (1) year from the 1st October 2020 until 31st September 2021.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis, WITS were unable to complete the necessary process to put in a longer term via this framework. As such, to ensure there is adequate provision in place for the next 12 months, whilst the Directorate considers longer term provision. WITS intends to undertake due diligence and look to put longer term arrangements in place via the framework.
