Hazard Analysis and Critical Control
Points document which is required to ensure that food prepared
in
Council premises meets current food safety guidelines. The
revision
is drafted to meet the e-coli action plan, which was produced by
the
Council following the e-coli public enquiry and has been
reviewed
and updated annually by the Council’s Food Safety
Group
RESOLVED:that
1. the contents of the report be noted
2. the revised Corporate Food Safety Management System (HACCP) be approved
3. the mandatory attendance of all food handlers, supervisors and Managers at a briefing session on the new Corporate Food Safety Management System (HACCP) to be delivered before the end of the financial year be endorsed.
