The current Local Development Plan (LDP) was adopted on 28th January, 2016. Legislation requires Local Authorities to undertake a full review of their LDP within 4 years of adoption. The first stage in this process is preparation and consultation on the draft Review Report and draft Cardiff Replacement LDP Delivery Agreement. Following the decision of Council on 26th November, 2020 consultation on these documents is planned to take place between 7th January 2021 and 4th February 2021.


The purpose of this report is to report back to Council the findings of this consultation process and recommend the Council approve the Final Review Report and Replacement LDP Delivery Agreement, forward to the Welsh Government for agreement and, subject to agreement being issued, commence the preparation of the Replacement LDP. 






RESOLVED: that Council be recommended to approve the Final Review Report and Final Delivery Agreement and authorise their submission to Welsh Government.
