Proposed Change of Status of St David's Catholic Sixth Form College - Implications for the Local Authority

St David’s Sixth Form Catholic Sixth Form College is considering its strategic options for the future and, more particularly, a closer connection with the Council.

 

The report will outline the options considered by St David’s and explain the implications, benefits and risks to the Council. It will also include a synthesis of feedback from key stakeholders including secondary schools.

·      St David’s College will consult with Welsh Assembly Members, Careers Wales, Estyn, Colegau Cymru, The Education Commission of the Diocese, FE Colleges, Local Secondary Schools, HE Institutions, Local Authorities, Regional Transport Consortium, The Police and Crime Commissioner, Local Elected Members, Local Members of Parliament, The Student Union, staff and recognised Trade Unions and the Welsh Language Commissioner.

·      In preparing the Cabinet Report LA officers will consult with all Cardiff Secondary Schools.
