The Council is under a Specific Duty levied by Welsh Government under the Equality Act 2010 to publish an annual review, setting out current completion of the Equality Objectives it set as part of its Strategic Equality Plan, or reasons for the non-completion of these Objectives. This review will cover the period from 1 April 2014 to 31 March 2015.
The report must also contain a range of information relating to the diversity of the Council’s workforce, and the arrangements it has in place to gather information, engage people and assess the impact of its policies and decisions.
