A proposal has been received from Dragon taxis to amend the fare tariff that a hackney carriage (taxi) may charge in the city.
A district council may fix or vary the rate of fare for the hire of a taxicab under the provisions of Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1976.
The City of Cardiff’s tariff of fare for Hackney Carriages was last set in September 2015.
