In April 2014 Cabinet approved the refocussing of the Parks Partnership Programme, in order to maximise opportunities for attracting external grants from a wider range of funders / funding streams and over a larger number of sites.
Within the programme and integral to the Council’s plans remains the ambition to deliver major parks projects that, in addition to levering investment, serve to strengthen existing and create new partnerships, conserve the city’s parks heritage and develop income streams that secure the sustainability of provision.
