RESOLVED: that it be noted the draft School Admissions Arrangements 2017/18 have been determined and the Admission Policy 2017/18 be agreed.
Minutes:
In accordance with Section 89 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 and the Education (Determination of Admission Arrangements) (Wales) Regulations 2006 the Council is required to review the School Admission Policy annually. Cabinet therefore considered the School Admissions Arrangements Policy for 2017/18. The policy had been subject to consultation with headteachers, governing bodies, diocesan directors, neighbouring local education authorities and other interested bodies.
