Decision details

RESOLVED: that

1.  the undertaking of a feasibility study as required by the legal direction from Welsh Government be approved;

2.  authority be delegated to the Director of Planning, Transport & Environment, in consultation with the Cabinet Members for Clean Streets, Recycling & Environment and Strategic Planning & Transport, to commence the procurement of a specialist consultant to undertake detailed modelling to support the feasibility study, including the issuing of documentation; and deal generally with all aspects of the procurement process and ancillary matters up to and including award of contract;

3.  the publication of the Transport and Clean Air Green Paper be noted and that it be referred to Full Council for debate.
