AGREED: the former Bulldog Public House and associated land be appropriated to the Housing Revenue Account for social housing development.

 

Reasons for the decision:

To enable Communities & Housing Section to develop the property and retain it within its portfolio to deliver new Council Housing in the Ward. The Council has a very high demand for social rented housing across all areas of the city but very little availability. The appropriation follows the purchase of the long leasehold interest which has now been merged with the freehold to provide a site that can be developed.
