AGREED: that
1) The contract be awarded to JPK Trade Supplies Ltd for the provision of polythene bags on a 24 month basis with the option to extend for a further 12 months. 3 year value being £2,362,397.10.
2) A formal contract be established with JPK Trade Supplies Ltd.
3) hose providers that have submitted a tender in this matter be informed of the outcome of the evaluation process.
The previous polythene bag contract has expired and the council have completed the proposed procurement exercise via the NPS framework. For the purpose of continuous improvement and best value, waste management should proceed with a tendering exercise to appoint JPK Trade Supplies Ltd.
